Lamp spray paint makeover

I just bought a new lamp shade and am completely in love with the retro mustard design. All I needed was a white base to complete the look. I never realised how expensive they were! As I sat staring at my existing uplighter lamp which I was replacing, (a high street buy - silver base and plastic shade), I had a light bulb idea! I bought a can of Rustoleum Universal All-Surface Paint in White Satin finish and sprayed the base, binned the flimsy plastic uplighter and there you have it, problem solved! What a difference.
